LIVERY

Our facilities include spacious well-ventilated stabling, extensive summer turnout and “dry” winter turnout, undercover horsewalker with rubber tiled flooring, a 30x40 metre sand school with jumps, and a cross country course comprising both fixed and portable fences, which is open, subject to weather and ground conditions, for approximately 5 months of the year.

Haylage is made on the farm, without artificial fertilisers, and is carefully produced and stored. High quality hard feedstuffs are used for all horses, and horses are bedded on woodshavings, with some stables having rubber flooring as well.

We can provide a farrier service, for liveries only, from our on-site forge. John has been a registered farrier for many years, and will make shoes specially for your horse and your discipline. Remedial farriery is also available.

We welcome horses and ponies on a short or long term livery basis. We regularly take horses for a short time when owners go away on holiday, and remedial livery for sick or injured horses or those returning to work is a speciality. We are also happy to take horses for schooling or reschooling. Clipping, trimming and mane and tail pulling to show standard is available to liveries and non-liveries by arrangement.

Occasionally we have quality horses for sale, or can help you to sell your horse to the perfect home.

Owners are welcome to ride their horses in the sand school and over the farm and cross country course (subject to certain safety and weather restrictions), and beautiful hacking is available nearby at Florencecourt Forest, Belmore Mountain and Glenfarne. The extensive beaches of Rossnowlagh and Murvagh are only a 45 minute drive away.
